Positive: The apartment’s location is great - close to the train station, a metro station, restaurants, and a supermarket is just across the street. We also enjoyed its spaciousness.
Negative: There is at least one mouse roaming freely in the apartment, and it is not one that can cook like in Disney’s Ratatouille. We saw it scuttling around in the living room, and boldly foraging in one of the kitchen drawers where bottles and jars of food are stored. We suspect there are mites in the mattresses, pillows and soft cushions. One of the pillows in the master bedroom also smelled “sour”. Our younger daughter woke up the first morning with at least 8 insect bites all over her body. She slept in the larger children’s bedroom with 2 single beds, in the bed next to the window. Our elder daughter and I also experienced itchy skin from sleeping in our beds. We hope the host would consider a “deep clean” of the bedding and also living room cushions to get rid of mites. Perhaps the host would also consider installing blinds on the bathroom window for more privacy? When the lights are switched on, anyone could look in through the clear glass panes.
